North Central Railway Recruitment 2018 - 1149 Act Apprentice Posts

North Central Railway (NCR), Office of the Divisional Personnel Officer, Allahabad has published a notification for recruitment to 703 posts of Act Apprentices under Apprentice Act, 1961 for the year 2018-19. Candidates can submit applications till 31st December 2018.

Stipend: Stipend will be given as per instruction issued by Railway Board from time to time.

Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 15 years and upper age limit should be below 24 years as on 30th November 018. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ ST candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates & 10 years for Physically handicapped persons.

Education Qualification: Candidate must have passed 10th Class/ Matriculation or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks and should possess ITI certificate in relevant trade from recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI) affiliated to NCVT/ SCVT.

Selection Process: A merit list will be prepared based on percentage of marks obtained in 10th examination as well as average marks obtained in ITI. There will be no written examination or interview/or exam for the selection.

Application Fee: Application fee charges are Rs.100. Candidates are required to send an Indian Postal Order in favour of Sr. DFM/ NCR/ ALD along with printout of application form. Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST), Physically handicapped and Women candidates are not required to pay Application fee.

How to Apply: Candidates can fill application online at North Central Railway (NCR) website ncr.indianrailways.gov.in. After submission of online application, candidates can take the printout of application and can send the application along with important documents to the Office of the Divisional Personnel Officer, Personnel Branch/ Recruitment Section, Room No. 112, Allahabad Division North Central Railway, Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh), Pin Code-211001 by ordinary/ registered post.

The application can also be the drop in the box placed at Office of Sr. Divisional Personnel Officer, Allahabad (Personnel Branch/ Recruitment Section-Room No. 112) in any working day between 10:00 AM to 17:45 PM up to 31st December 2018.
