Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has issued an employment notification at website www.tnpsc.gov.in for recruitment to Principal, Industrial Training Institute / Assistant Director of Training and Assistant Engineer (Industries). Candidates can apply online till 24th December 2018.
Posts of Principal, Industrial Training Institute / Assistant Director of Training will be filled in Tamil Nadu Employment and Training Service while Assistant Engineer (Industries) will be filled in Tamil Nadu Industries Subordinate Service.

Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 24 years for both posts and upper age limit is 30 years for Principal post & 35 years for Assistant Engineer as on 1st July 2018. No upper age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/ DCs, BC (OBCM)s, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all castes.
Educational Qualification:
1) Assistant Engineer (Industries) - (i) Candidate should possess Degree in Engineering/ Technology (B.E./ B.Tech) in any branch other than Civil and Architecture engineering.
(ii) Candidate should have minimum 06 months Practical experience in General purpose Engineering Workshop/ Engineering Industry or in other related fields (please check official notification for details).
(iii) Candidate should have adequate knowledge in Tamil.
2) Principal, Industrial Training Institute / Assistant Director of Training - (i) Candidate should possess Degree in Engineering/ Technology (B.E./ B.Tech) in any branch.
(ii) Candidate should have minimum 03 years Practical experience in a workshop/ factory.
(iii) Candidate should have adequate knowledge in Tamil.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be made through Objective type Written Examination and Oral Test.
Examination Fee: Examination fee charges are Rs.150/- for only Assistant Engineer (Industries) post and Rs.200 if candidate applying for both posts. Fee may be pay either through Online Payment (Net Banking, Credit card/Debit card) or Off-line Payment (Post Office or Indian Bank). No examination fee for SC/ ST/ Backward Classes/ Differently Abled Persons, Ex-Servicemen and Destitute Widow of all communities.
All applicants have to pay one-time registration fee of Rs.150 to apply for the post which will be valid for 05 years from the date of registration (No registration fee for applicants who have already registered with the validity of 05 years).
